Comment on frame size

I have a crack at a really nice Jamis Dakota Expert that has a 21" frame. I'm right at 6' tall with a 32" pants inseam...cycling about 33.25". Jamis literature has the tt at 603/23.75" and th s.o. at 830/32.68". I'm looking for a bike where I can sit back and spin the pedals. I don't do any agressive off road anymore. Maybe some XC mild trails. I'm too old and break easy. I'd like to hear comments on what you guys think of the frame size given my height? All sbjective and fit at LBS is best I know... Looking for a litmus test idea righ now. With road bikes, I like a longer top tube. I hate feeling scrunched up. I also realize a road bike is a different animal. Thoughts? Too big to even consider? Sound about right?

Start going to bike shops, test ride the bikes and see what feels good to you. Your the one who is going to ride the bike not the rest of us.

Too big, but doable with a super-short stem.

I'm 6"2 and ride an 18.5 and a 19 though. 21 is pushing the outer limits.
