The pictures were not supposed to be leaked. It's not a current model year product and it's generally bad juju to post something that may not even be planned to be released for 2011. Some companies are very protective about having pictures of prototypes being posted, fox racing shox just happens to be one of those companies.

As is, the person who took the picture and allowed them to get leaked onto the internet is probably permanently on Fox's list.

MTBR has it on their forums - Rock Shox and Marz will get the photo off there, throw it into their reverse engineering photo - to - production machine and beat Fox to market. The masses will buy them all up, flooding the market with 180mm SC forks - Fox will then fail miserably - and their stock prices will plummet. The Dow will follow, and there we are at the bottom of the recession again. The mods here are doing their part to keep industrial sabotage - that is very common in the lucrative bike industry - to a minimum.

Word! I'm glad I didn't leak those Demo pics I had from a few years back.

As I said was sorry that I had to, but I do have to play the bad guy at times. Removing the picture is out of respect of a company in which some day down the road could become a potential advertiser.

^^ Hmmm - we talk about mountain bikes here - and parts. If shimano had a new group leaked out would you curb that too? I guess if Fox contacted you and asked to have it pulled, that's one thing. How do we know that Fox did not leak it? - You could have screwed up their new advertising campaign.

Actually, the 2011 shimano stuff is going to be available in a few weeks. The pictures of the fox have been removed from a few sites already due to the request of fox racing shox. Don't be surprised that the one on mtbr gets removed soon. I would have left it up if this was an official release.
