is the Lapierre "Titanium Edition" MTB frame actually titanium?
A friend is considering the purchase of a Lapierre mountain bike, a no longer current "Titanium Edition" model from a few years ago.
Has anyone had one or have any experience with one and would know if the frame is actually titanium material or just titanium colored alumium?
I ask because the asking price is relatively cheap for a titanium frame, but a bit expensive for aluminum.
Thanks for any insights available.

Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.
Every indication I got was that it's triple-butted chromoly.
