I'll start, Mt Sneffels, Ridgeway, CO in the summer of 1972

Cool idea, Shifty. Here's another vantage point of Mt. Sneffels....taken in the fall of '07. I am a landscape photographer, ironically specializing in the mountain scenery of Colorado...so there's PLENTY more where this came from if anyone is interested.

I have been known to walk around the mountains of CO with a camera. Wish I really were a landscape photographer by trade though.

I think I might just post one photo a day for awhile (until everyone gets bored).....I'll post a link to the main website where I have some wallpaper sized files (but still only 1024 pixels on the longest side) at a later date. These will be usually around 800 pixels or so.

Today's shot is of the Beckwith Mountains near Paonia. This was taken at sunrise....very chilly with absolutely no wind, so the water was really like glass. Enjoy!

Is linking to someone else's fine photos alright? If not, I apologize, but I do have to pay tribute to my first mountain experience - the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Seriously though, that is one of the best sand dunes shots I have seen. Love the colors.

Great Sand Dunes is a magical place, I always hate the winds in San Luis Valley, until I get to the dunes and see what the wind creates. Great shot, well worth waiting for late afternoon for that one.
