No question, it was the toughest weather conditions so far. 90-95, and so humid that the morning mist was condensing in the back of the pack from the vacuum. A paceline with a contrail. It wasn't just sweaty... it was rivers of sweat.
Where's mazaev with the pictures?

Pics are up a the usual place (https://www.flickr.com/photos/mazaev/...7600303994594/)
Something about those damn people coming up the mountain during our decent.. the grimaces on their faces. That look of despair as they stared at our grinning selves as we were flying down the road. Boy, this was a painful ride.

There's supposed to be some kind of alignment of the planets tonight. I think that's what those people were up there. They're not planning on coming back down...
BTW I think steve is gonna kill you when he sees that picture. I mean, literally kill you, he's going to plunge a knife into your back at the next ride.

I don't know how you guys did it in that heat. I mean I love the heat and all. But I was in the stands at that tennis match, in the sun, and was soaking wet in no time. All with a hear rate of I'd say about 70bpm. Good job! That one goes down in the books.

Weather looks perfect. We could start at 6:30am and be back by 4.
If we're going that route, I really really hope my 11-26 cassette and 34t chainrings show up by friday.

I just chopped off a bunch of body parts in payment for tennis tickets, so I will need to be in the city by 2 on Sunday. Saturday would be ideal. I would also be up for a "later in the day" ride on Monday.
Oh, also, I'll post some alternative (and just as interesting) routes this evening when I have some time.

I meant we're all going out for dinner... I might just take a quick run up there myself then. If you guys are taking the scenic route earlier, I can probably meet you guys up there.

The scenic route looks sweet, Alex! I'd be up for that this weekend. Kinda wanted to go out there myself sometime before the weather cools off too much. My aunt lives out there in Rockland county, and have always thought the area would be great for cycling. Actually, come to think of it, for me, just sat. Have work sun, and a running race Monday morning. Slvoid, come with us, then just solo t.t.home down 9w to make up time, maybe I'll do that too and give you a wheel to draft, slowpoke!

So we're not bad examples anymore?

No, I'll be in black, and look like a total bad-ass lowering the possibility of any "incidents".
Your still a bad example but my girl is a little ways off. She never even know I had talked to you, let alone ride with you!

Black jersey eh... you mean like the one I wanted you to order for me and was so conveinently "lost" when the warehouse burned down? I bet the label on the tag's not even a small.
Might as well admit it.. you burned down paragon sports.
