Dinner was nice - food is good - we can probably do it again this year (if our table manners didn't turn everyone off too much ... i promise to keep the cash dry this year). We're staying in Philly Sat night where we can park the SpongeLads for the day ... an 830 roll out and an early Sunday dinner sounds great. We have to collect the little sponges before we can head south, and the drive home Sunday night southbound on I-95 is, well, nothing but joy, as I'm sure anyone who has experienced beach traffic can imagine. So the earlier on everything the better ...

LOL!!
It is just that not many people expect a 46 year old, 6'1" 200+lb black guy who looks like a mean looking Forrest Whitaker to be into that sort of thing. I just skimmed over your blog and found it quite interesting. I think I am going to enjoy riding with you. And I thank you for the very gracious offer to put me up for the night. I have wanted to do this ride since I joined these forumes back in '05. I now have that opprotunity thanks to you.

Cheers,

Brian

Few people expect a fat, middle aged Caucasian with scoliosis to teach himself to ride a bike as an adult. So being surprising is something we have in common. PM me and Neil Fein and we can work out arrangements.

"bastid?" (sniff, sniff, tears welling up) Do you really mean that?

That's one of the nicest things anyone has ever called me...

I was looking forward to meeting you at the ride. Guess you'll just have to make it down to NC sometime for a mountain ride.

No way am I riding chipcom's wheel. See what you've done! Now what am I going to do?
