I'm a hop, skip & jump outside of Cape May aka the REAL South Jersey

I would more than likely drop dead if I attempted a Century, I just got back on the bike this week after a crummy summer season.

I'm pretty much a loner, I've been thinking about joining a group of some sort lately, I'd like to tackle longer distances at a faster pace. Shore Cycle Club seems like a nice group, do they still ride in the winter months?

Maybe we can meet up for a ride sometime, like when I'm in a little better shape

I totally agree. Once I get over I-95, traffic lightens up quite a bit. When I get up near the Mercer-Hunterdon border, cars disappear.

Unfortuanately, I've never officially crossed into Hunterdon County. A washed out Hunter Road prevented me from doing that a few weeks ago.

Shore cycle club is a good group. I did the century they sponsored on 9-30-06. I believe they have a monthly breakfast ride the first Sunday of the month year round. https://www.shorecycleclub.org/
