My legs, butt, hamstring, thighs ... are all toast. And it's Monday, 5 days before the Giro. Hopefully I can recover in time. Otherwise, you'll be passing me like a "badly microwaved potato" ...
I'll definitely need to do Montebello one more time before Saturday. I don't matter how slow I am ...

OK everyone, the ride is coming up Saturday. It looks like there are 21 BF'ers doing various routes.
Is anyone interested in meeting at 7am by the registration desk to say hello before departing? We will invariably separate during the course based on different riding speeds, but I thought it would be nice to at least get introduced before we start. That way, we could at least say hi during the course.
There are a few of us who have ridden together so we'll recognize each other. Others will recognize fellow BF'ers from pictures or avatars. Just look for a group forming near the registration area.
Also, we could stick around after the ride and socialize...

better than not riding enough. I did not get any riding in this weekend, other than a few trips around town (Trader Joes, Whole Foods, etc..). I am going to die

i was hoping to set out at 6:30 (100mi).
turns out i am going to have to break down and rent a car for friday/saturday to fulfill all my obligations without destroying my legs for the event.

The family will be in Nebraska so there'll be plenty o' space.
My flight gets into San Jose mid-afternoon on Friday.

It should be easy to identify us, since we'll be riding a very dark red Fuji tandem.
