We used to siphon gas all the time for our snowmobiles and motorcycles. I learned after one bad experience to use clear hose.

I grew up in a suburban town outside of Newark, NJ. When we had drivers ed. in school, we did our highway drive into Newark. We were told to slow down at red lights in Newark and never come to a complete stop unless the cross street had traffic. If you got pulled over, thank the police officer for protecting you. Carjackings were that common back then.

Because part of what makes it a safe haven is that it's private. In all seriousness, I think anyone that is suspected of being a spy would not be very welcome there, and could get locked out. They do lock women out if they think the room has been compromised.
