Actually, a lot of people get into cc debt because of the ridiculous amount of money that prestigious schools charge these days. And with the economy so bad right now, it is hard for college grads to get a job making more than 50K a year, which is barely enough to live on when you figure in student loans/rent/food/gas/electricity. Not to mention if you end up having a kid in college/grad school.
I am a firm believer that the education system in the US needs to be reformed. It is a joke how much school costs.
