As someone else said, it'll have to come down to the apologists, and the frame material nazis if it's going to have legs.
And this is my first post in the Addiction thread...at one point I would have sworn I'd never even read it, much less post in it. Having spent many hours getting through it, I've got to thank all of you for the entertainment it has provided...

I also think that thread has a great deal of potential. However, we'll have to leave it up to the masses to make it go. The OP's initial post was too logical and well thought out to egg them on very much. Unfortunately, he didn't use the word "catastrophic" in the title, so there won't be the usual arguing over that terminology. Also, it seems that BOTH Specialized and the LBS are stepping up to the plate, so that doesn't bode well for the entertainment value.

For example, I summoned a doctor yesterday and within an hour or so, I had my question answered. That's faster than Kaiser.

Plus, it had a far better chance of being correct than if you had actually had an exam from Kaiser.

In police brutality news, Denver's mayor has asked the FBI to investigate. Watch the guy on the left in black on his cell phone.

OK, is this primarily for federal law enforcement officers? I thought such investigations are typically handled on the local level.

So, went out to climb some hillls (calling it hill repeats would be too grand). Did a couple of passes on the 8% grade near home. Then, I headed over to the next road east which has a bit of a broken uphill stretch. Didn't get that far.
Flat tire, the third this week - aack. Rear, which has new tire and tube. The culprit this time was a brass nipple. The velox tape had just worn through and pierced my new tube.
Oh, well. Another trip to the LBS.

Ugh. My frame was on the loading dock, guy at CC pulled it off due to it being a bit too big for me apparently after email. I wish he would have just sent the 54 since he said that's what I need, rather than waiting for a reply. Grr.
