I like a lot of the Castelli products I've looked at. I think I'd like to get the Montirolo jersey eventually.

Are all the shorts basically the same? Or is there a noticeable difference between a $100 and a $50 pair?

I will vote for the 60 min. not really a time trial run. But, participation may not be possible due to my schedule ( I dont know what it is at this time. ) Sounds like just the ticket after 2 weeks off the bike. I am doomed.

netbook = failbook. just in case you were wondering.

One waits through much of The Return of the Jedi for a momentary glimpse at the golden bikini. Once it's past the show is really over.

I wonder if the day I crush the idiots will be as climactic. Maybe I should just savor the chase.

How does one do a meaningful competition remotely (not that this one doesn't have it's own special meaning)?

I've heard about Computrainer races. Could something like that be done amongst people with power meters?

My boss brought in his new iPad on Friday. It's slick, but it's just a large iPhone. Once it can multi-task, run Flash, and has a bit more disk space, I'll be buying one.

I wonder if this "hole" has anything to do with your mutant like aerobic capacity.

PS - amongst other bike maintenance stuff, I'm putting on the spiffy new saddle this evening... thanks for that!

My aerobic capacity is really nothing special. And nice, enjoy it.

oi.

I rode in Tour de Cure and raised enough money to be in the $500-700(or 800...I can't remember) prize category. They've now informed me that the special jerseys are on back-order until early to mid September.

Nice. I'd rather have a frame than a jersey, though. Considering that the frame retails for $700 they wouldn't make much if that was the prize.

I would too, but I'll take anything that's "free"
