It's quiet now, a rare time for Velo Vol to soliloquize without fear of losing a rattlebrained 41 audience.

take lots of ginger, garlic, cayenne pepper. They have eased the worst of it since the morning.

Here's my cold remedy. beetroot (cooked), celery, apple juice...these are just regular ingredients. Add 6 cloves of garlic, a big honking piece of fresh ginger. blitz. hold your nose, drink quickly. Ginger tea honey and lemon regularly. Gargle with cayenne pepper and drink cayenne pepper. Splutter up phlem. feel better.

I don't see any zinc in there? I believe it was ROUkie that suggested that 40 pages ago. It works. Though, I take it when I feel the first hint of a cold coming on.

i took 3 multivitamin tablets which had zinc. i added sesame seeds to breakfast which has some. unfortunately the best source of zinc is red meat which I no longer eat. i'll get some yoghurt.

i've now taken 12 cloves of garlic in 6 hours. i stink. mark my words...full blown cold will be defeated in 24 hours. think it's possible? i want to ride tomorrow.
