baklava is a very healthy desert. nuts and honey. not full of saturated fats. beats eating a twinkie.

According to this website there are 335 calories in a 2" by 2" piece of baklava. Plus 202 calories from fats.

One Twinky has 150 calories with 45 calories from fats. 3 grams of saturated fat vs. 9.4 grams in a 2" square of baklava.

The baklava is at least made from mostly recognizable ingredients.
The twinkie could survive a nuclear holocaust.

I'd pick the baklava too. Life's too short to not enjoy it.

FYI: The "Sport" section of the BBC website is lame. I followed coasting's silly link (leave the weather stories to me) and then I tried to find out how badly the Redskins beat up on the Jaguars. I couldn't find it, even though several links were labeled "Football."

Speaking of desserts, we will not be having apple pie tonight. It's a bummer, because Mrs. RJ was going to use the apples she canned from our tree. Apparently, the crust was spoiled.

I'm watching the Supercross season preview... it looks like Ricky Carmichael has had some nasty spine or neck issues. He turns his head with his whole upper body. MX/SX is not a sport for old men.
