I forgot my password and was trying to get to 50 to send a PM, I have to go to a different location to get to my email to reset my password and I didn't feell like walking in the cold to get to a computer to access gmail. Now I might catch a cold...sheesh.

If you can do some riding in at least hilly country you should be OK for a ride like this. Quite a few riders come from flat parts of the country and do fine. The last "mountain" is really the only one that you need strong climbing muscles for. None of the "mountain" climbs are very long compared to the tougher climbs in the Appalachians.

that makes me feel better. I was able to do 5x50 with each arm and then started to drown cause I could not make the turn. Then I just swam for another 20 min and then kicked for 400. I tried the drillls with the buoy and could not turn to breathe, so I just kicked like Quel recommended. My arms hurt.
