How long did it take you to master the requisite formulas?

You must live in New England. Single digits for me tomorrow. I have intervals to do so i may bag the commute and ride them on the trainer. We'll see how it is tomorrow morning.

Who could it be? I am not ruling out the possibility of a coasting sock, especially with that name.

He has also been scheming in the Trollheim sock thread. I think he said too much. Someone screen save before he starts deleting.

Does one actually have to have some type of experience in the UK to post in there?

If you turn up the stereo, does your hair blow back like you are going fast?

You need a TV and some movies/videos/workouts/spinervals/tdf-dvds/whatever. Music alone doesn't do it for me on the rollers, but video keeps me entertained for an hour long ride.

You also need more bike schwag. Those shoes look older than I am.

That's the Maxell commercial from like 25 years ago. Although if you notice on the floor I have not one, but two tape cassette decks, so that just might work.

I just use music, today's was "Disintegration" by The Cure. And yes those are vintage shoes circa 1986. They match the bike in color and age. Maybe I should be posting in C&V instead....

It's a custom steel bike, brand "Alpine" made by a custom builder who was active in the DC area (Rockville, to be exact) in the 1980's. I got it in 1985. Builder's name was Fred Kelly. I think he stopped making frames a long time ago. If you ask some of your cycling buddies who were riding back then I am sure they will know of Alpine Cycles and Fred Kelly....

Again custom geometry necessary for my wacky body dimensions.
