44 miles, 2000ft in the first 12 miles.

It wasn't that bad (besides my legs being dead) except when I started going through the mountains by Gunlock it dropped down to about 20* with a 15mph headwind. I think I'm going to take a few days off and try it again, this time with slightly warmer clothes. My toes got a _little_ frostbite; I'm assuming it was from the ride down. I topped out at 44mph. Probably the fastest I've ever gone on a bike.

44mph descents in 20* weather is asking for trouble. Up here I use the brakes to keep top speeds under 25mph until it warms up closer to freezing.
