Bike mounting skill did seem to be inversely proportional to dollars spent on bike.

jealousy

I know that I'm jealous of those that can run. If so, I'd be doing a tri.

but if you get to the frontrunners of a race like that (it was a sprint- 0.3m swim, 16m bike, 5k run) they are fast on their expensive bikes. Likely faster than most of us.

I didn't notice that, until you pointed it out. That's funny. I have some of those little adapters and the 45s to go with them.

Bummer. I hope things get better today.

We should start a PCLU.

I'd go with the 56. The frame is undersquare in a 54 and square in the 56, with a good TT length for your torso. It's also a cross bike and the larger opening will make it easier to carry.

YMMV.

Based on your readout, I would lean towards the size 56cm because of the recommended toptube length (Eddy Fit says 56.3 to 56.7). The size 56 frame has a 56cm effective toptube which seems close enough to fit by swapping out different length stems.

Are you looking online?
Thanks guys. I decided on the 56cm. Sent my old bike back and just ordered my new one. I just hope I'm happy with this one and I don't get the urge to trade it in again a month from now. Although it's easier to justify spending more money when it's only $300 more (with the trade-in value).

All that money spent on shaving off every last second, you'd think they would learn how to mount a bike.
Judgmental dude needs to check his spelling and grammar when criticizing other peoples mistakes.

I have a small stack of vinyl (mostly singles) that I can't listen to, because I have nothing to play them on. The packrat in me keeps them because many were from friends' bands.

Oh yes. We bought the best B&O turntable we could afford 20 years ago or so. We have a pretty large collection of vinyl.

I am friggin bored. Sitting at home waiting for our alarm company to come out to fix our security system. 3" of snow has shut this town down. I can't go to the gym, or even get on the trainer because I'm waiting for these yahoo's to show up. Their reason for being late was the snow. I drove all over town this morning (to the dentist, to the hospital to see patients, to my office) in my RWD BMW with ZR rated tyres (I do not have all season radials on it). The only problem I had was backing out of a parking spot after being plowed in. That got easier when I remembered to turn off the DSC.

A long time ago I saw some Guiding Light. I think that went off the air. Also, The Young and the Restless.

I cannot watch that crap. Our TV is used for MorningJoe, Chris Matthews, and Sports.

Very nice. I miss the analog days. (Music, photo, film, etc.)

Can I ask a medical question then? What would cause random cramping in the calves, toes and bottoms of feet after a week of "rest"? Dehydration? Poor circulation?

We need a cyclist-based soap opera.

Someone want to pitch it to NBC??

Probably a reality show would work better.
