I've never fully understood the lure of Bristol race. The track is so small that the cars can't go very fast.
LowCel doesn't need the cadence sensor since he has a Quarq.
Yes, I have noticed these spikes, as well as missing Power info during sprints, but only in Garmin Connect. I did some 10" windups last week and only half were there. Once I loaded the ride into Golden Cheetah, all of the info showed up. Still, I am going to pick up a set of batteries for the hub just in case since I bought it used.

I like Golden Cheetah.... the price was right and trying to make the stupid power curve move up has become a fun obsession. I blame Mikey.

120 mph average speed for a half-mile track is ridiculous.
It's not about the top speed, it's the close-up racing and the almost-wrecks every ten seconds all around the track. That and pit stops are absolutely nuts as losing a second puts you back 10+ places and then you have to drive like Jen in Jacksonville traffic to get back to the front. The banking is 36 degrees. The G-forces and August heat wear the drivers down to the point that some of them are hospitalized with heat stroke. Now that's racin'.
Exactly. I have a 1/2" gun with barely enough compressor power to drive that. The V-6 crank pulley on the Ridgeline is on the passenger side, accessible through the wheel well.
The speed doesn't vary much all the way around because of the banking. It's like 100-140-100-140.
And I can verify firsthand that Tennessee rednecks know how to party. We got to the track at 6am on Sunday and some good old boys were finishing a keg-fueled beer bong right in front of the gate.

Sadly, they did the progressive banking thing at Bristol, so the day of the 36 degree banking is done.

You might be a redneck if..... Jeff Foxworthy is a funny guy.
@RUokie, I'll try to figure the Haggard thing out later, I'm assuming that is Country? Is it Neil or Vince? I live in Moore now.

I'm tired of Star Trek facepalms. The sports ones are better.
Cute animal facepalms are the best ever, though:

I've looked all around at different frames. There are plenty of $300 generic carbon ebay frames around, but I'm not really into those. I would love a nice carbon Raleigh frame. I gravitate towards the looks of the Raleigh frame
