Bump the belly fat?? Too many waves....

Ugh, I did two sets of intervals on the trainer this morning. I suppose it's good for me but I was totally ready to PUKE by the end of each set.

I even posted a thread asking for suggestions, but I suspect any training regimen that works is going to have the same effect on me.....arrrgh....

Stupid winter snow is ruining my riding.

I just got back from a 3 hour ride. I enjoy going out and getting lost much more than cycling any given path. I discover much more and see a lot more. Not to mention it's 65 degrees and sunny.

Glad to hear it.

I am highly jealous, it's warm enough to ride here (about 30ish) but the roads are still not safe. And more precip coming on Tuesday.

that list isn't updated to include the last 3 RU recruits. Just got a verbal by the #1 player in NJ (#4 RB in the nation), and should get one or two more good verbals tomorrow. They came on strong in the end. We have never had a top 25 class --I'm not saying we will, but there is a strong chance

Same here. It actually feels warm (mid 30's) but most of the roads aren't even plowed for both lanes, much less the shoulders. With snow banks over 6 feet at most intersections, you'd be risking even more than usual getting out there.

Sunny, breezy, windchill of 15 degrees or less; sounds like a good day to get out. It hit 30 for about a half hour yesterday and people were almost passing out from the heat.

datlas, it was 73 here yesterday. I started my ride with bibs/short sleeve jersey, no jacket. I ended with my jersey unzipped. Glorious. I come home and check the weather on my iphone, and see that.

Yes. On Friday they revised the high temperatures up ten degrees. Nice. It must be the RUOkie bump.

Teen texting. How is this possible?

Although you're a bad person for this, it was pleasant enough here to go ride too. I too was wearing shorts and a short sleeve jersey - underneath my bib tights and thermo-shell.

As it says in the article, the length of mobile phone calls is down. I do a fair amount of texting, but nowhere near that much.

I am just snarky because I have not been able to ride on the road for the past 9 days. I really don't mind riding in the cold weather and would willingly ride in temps down in the teens or lower....but we have had snow every few days here and the roads are just not safe enough. It's sunny today and tomorrow so hypothetically the roads should be dry enough for my usual epic wednesday club ride, but we are getting a wintry mix of precip on tuesday night into wednesday so that's not going to happen. It looks like the next ride opportunity may not be until next weekend.

In the meantime I have my rollers and some stupid intervals I am trying on the stationary trainer, and even the pool at the Y, but these are a lame substitute for the real thing.
