I only joined because there was going to be a "guys" room only for members, but they canned that idea after I paid. Ad blocker worked fine enough, but having no ads is really nice.

I don't know if datlas will see this, but I did an open c'trainer group ride today. It was only $10* for 90 minutes.
I was never close enough to anyone to notice any drafting, we may have been doing something different, but I was in the middle of the group all by myself. Course was Ironman Germany.
*I'm supposed to get a bunch of sessions free as part of the training package, but their system is effed and is charging people. Not a big deal since I'll probably use up all the freebies. I'm not a fan of the rollers we have at home, and buying a cheap trainer seems like a waste... but we don't have $$ to get a good one. So, my plan is to go once a week to the open spin. Once we're not so broke I think we're going to look for a used C'trainer or a Tacx, which we've found for around the same price as a new fluid trainer.
Since the "Snowpocalypse" happened this morning (meh. 4" is more like a "dusting") and the roads have been salted, the road bike wont be going back outside until the first heavy rain in spring.

I stopped by the funeral home for a viewing. I didn't know the decedent but her descendants are in my church.
She was 112 years old.
