his wife drove to the feed zones and handed him bottles and food. He found it was better to stop the bike and do that, rather than go for the moving handoffs that we do in shorter races. the group that he was with was pretty cool about getting back together after the feed zones.

she had to speed a bit because the detours to the next feedzone could be long.

Looks like logistics are a major deal in a race such as this. Looking at the cat 5/4 times, I think this may be something I could do.
