I think this is my neck warmer. It is shaped the way this one is. That also helps keep it in place.

Thanks everyone. I just got home from the hospital and he is doing much better. He was in terrible pain for the majority of the day since he couldn't urinate. Around 7:30 this evening the doctor returned to the hospital and worked with him some and put in another catheter that will stay in for a while. They couldn't believe how much blood he lost but luckily it wasn't enough for him to need a transfusion. He is going to be in the hospital overnight and possibly longer.
What is interesting is that the doctor said a normal prostate has two nodes but dads grew a third for some reason, probably when he was in his 30's. He is 73 now so it hasn't really caused a lot of problems. We will find out Wednesday whether or not he has cancer, I'm saying prayers and keeping my fingers crossed that one comes back negative.

Thank you. He isn't home yet, he will be spending the night in the hospital and hopefully going home sometime tomorrow.

I lost my grandfather last July to pancreatic cancer. He was 76. Pancreatic cancer acts fast though so he didn't suffer long. Hope it turns out for the best.
That's great, hope they work out for you.

My old neighbor had a whipple done years ago though and is doing okay. He's 75ish, and has been going strong for a few years since. But when we saw him over Christmas when visiting, he said another neighbor came to him for advice. That other neighbor was told had pancreatic, with only 6 weeks to live, and came to him to ask for advice since he went through it. He was dead two weeks later. Terrible.
Good luck LC.
