You should try the whole foot measurement thing to get shoes that properly match your feet; it's the equivalent of getting a pro bike fit for your feet. There is also the option of getting the five-finger shoes for running. They are rather ugly, but they to do a great job of reducing shock to the knee by forcing you to run on the balls of your feet rather than heel-to-toe. They will also beef up your calves rather nicely

Razor wishes he could keep up with a newer STI. Those things can perform.

If those are what I think they are, they are really dumb. A guy wears them at volleyball.

They have a sort of cult following behind them. They are supposed to mimic natural barefoot running

I know two people that have them , they say running in them is more difficult at first. They had to build up to wearing them for long runs, but they like them.

A jogger I pass every morning wears those. We both wave to each other cuz we're both dorks. Jogger Fred vs. cycling Fred.

She didn't seem to be putting that much effort into it. I was waiting at a long stoplight and took notes on her technique. Not much lift at the shoulder, mainly at the elbow. Very little wrist rotation or lateral movement. Basically, she just raised her hand up and fluttered her finger tips forward and backward a bit.

D+
We have some here that put good effort into their waving.

Either that, or they're on meth.

Or both.

Waving is a lot easier on days when you can let yourself get into z3 and z4. It is those LSD z1-2 days that are hard.

Yep. The first couple of times you have to do short distance and be prepared for some sore calves.

Yesterday at the basketball game a former coach was recognized twice (once as the first SEC African American coach and once when his son's number was retired). Thing is, he all but destroyed the basketball program. One year he won like five games.

So I was interested what the crowd response would be. Turned out to be polite applause; I didn't notice any booing. I guess it has been long enough ago that most people have written it off as a bygone.

The Little Caesars pizza waver near here doesn't just wave, he dances. He is an iPod driven waver/dancer.

We have one fellow for Firehouse Subs that plays his sign like a guitar. He's non-stop. I can't imagine how exhausted he must be at the end of his shift. He's just all over the place. He shouts too.

I know, I printed it out. I need to scrounge through the surplus stuff at work so I can frame it.

Why is this issue relevant? I was wondering if I should let bygones be bygones and make a return to Foo.

I really have no reason not to, other than the fact that it's a pretty dumb place.

Running alone is like cycling alone; it's hard to press yourself to go faster and faster

Is Addiction no longer filling your need for nonsense?

Why did you leave Foo? I'm listening. Juicy story, please.
