Hey heckler, did you get some snow? We got only about 5 inches out here.

Also, I like mini's but have never been a passenger in one. I think it's a driver's car.

Unless you drive it on two wheels.

Only me and another guy here at the workplace. We are the two that ride our bikes to work, just not today. That's a statement on dedication, idiocy, or both.

i think not riding your bike in a state of emergency is just about excuseable.

i was out until lunchtime and it is ridiculous. there is some kind of shopping mania going on and we keep being told that it is austerity times and bad times are here and we must all take a hit...yet i have never even in boom times seen such hysteria of shopping madness. i'm starting to think all the doom and gloom is just a scam by politicians.

Oh no. It's a farking blizzard out there. We got between 4"-8" so far. It's tough to tell with the wind and drifting. The visibility out of my office window is about 50m.

Of course the weather guessers predicted 12"-18" so they were spot on as always.

yes. boxing day fell on sunday so today is the first uninhibited day for shopping in the boxing day sales. it is stupid as stupid gets. the price reductions as far as i've seen were around before christmas and for weeks before. at least no one got trampled.

Early numbers in the states have put holiday consumer spending up 4.7% over last year.

the internet says 13" it must be pretty close to that... my wife is going nuts. she is going to work, but all the people that live closer say they can't make it even though it is less snowy over there. (she needs someone to open the door)

It's allegedly an appointment for life.

So far she has served nearly 20 years...and I must admit she is pretty good at her job. We even got our mortgage paid off!
