First hill repeats of the year. 12.5 miles, 1500', 1 hour on the nose. 2.5 mile ride to the hill, then 3 times up the same 1.2 mile, 360' climb...takes 8 - 10 minutes each climb. Nice workout...but I'm too fat and too slow for this sport.

whew... ran 2 miles today. It was basically 11 miles, just a little less.

I never have gotten into hill repeats. If I want to climb, I go where there is either long or multiple hills to ride.

Had a great workout on the leg press. I feel like something is missing though. I think I may go ride the rollers for an hour or so now. Which is staggering, for I barely got the last rep up only 20min ago.

I have several options around here...but in the waning light in the evening, this route is the safest. Can't wait for DST to start. I also use this route to attempt to do negative split times. I have difficulty pulling those off though because I can't seem to slack enough on the first one to set myself up for success on the next two!
