Well, my kid's grandmother is sleeping downstairs. She's 78 and has had several strokes. With proper care, they can be managed. I wish the best of luck to you.

That route reminded me of the Owasco Flyer. I did that race shortly after getting back on the bike a couple years ago. I don't recall why, but a friend and I decided the best way to try racing was to drive up to the Finger Lakes and do that one. We had fun, went fast for awhile, got shelled, took a dip in the lake and drove home. I feel like I need to go do that thing again. I still dunno why.

That is a really beautiful area!

Yep, she's okay. They're just going to keep an eye on her for a day or 2. No brain damage so says the CT scan. 86.

Glad it's not worse. It seems she is an older grandmother for someone your age. My dad's parents were, too.

Anyone ever eat Weetabix? It's a curious substance.

Bikes: everywhere

I used to be hooked on weetabix. Haven't had any in 20 years or so. I'm pretty much anti-cereal.

Anti-cereal? Blasphemy. I could eat cereal twice a day.

Anti cereal? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

Not much cereal here either. I don't count oatmeal as cereal though.

Plus, my favorite yogurt is a seasonal treat. It's only available from April to November.
