I will call when we touch down.

I just scored from one of my clients, two velo-vise roof mounts for my rack and he rebuilt my geeked right ergo lever for FREE! Thank you Campagnolo Race Services. I'm elated just wanted to share.

Anyway where do you feel like meeting up Rob?

How about a head count for Saturdays Scenic Tour for Bodily Abuse. I hope you are packing your "Suitcase of Courage".

For those considering the Saturday ride, if you're coming from out of town (Providence, for example), you can crash at my place Friday night so you don't have to drive up while it's still dark Saturday morning.

Eric from MIT is still an unknown.

I'm down for the Saturday ride. I think my friend Jimmy (aka Hollywood) might be interested but he's pretty new on a road bike, so I don't know if he'll be a liability.

I don't care where we meet up. We could do Bukowski's again, or we could do something closer to the track. Or farther away. How's that for decisive?

Bukowski's is in Inman Square, on Cambridge Street near where it intersects Prospect: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=1281+C...0.060176&hl=en

Hey race results and photos are up for the Midnight Crit from last Friday: https://www.rushinrevolution.com/unioncrit.htm and https://www.moondanceimages.com/mcrit/

I look like a pudgy bastard, and there are *far* too many pre-race beer shots of the same guy over and over again. And the only mid-race photo is of the same guy! (I think the bald guy with the camera had a crush.) I thought photographers liked action shots?! This guy should have been stationed on the corners. Much more fun to be had there.

dude I could discuss at length what I think of the photography ... I was suspect of what was going on while we were there. Although I do like the cover shot with me, you and Jeff.

Hollywood as in MIT track Hollywood?

Anyhow, Saturday sort of scares me and I sort of wish I was going and am sort of glad that I have an excuse to not. I haven't been training at all and would probably die after 100 klicks.

Have fun! I promise I'll make it out again one of these days.

Bikes: Burley Pine Grove, Bridgestone fixed conversion

So, I can't make it out tonight (or Saturday, for that matter). However, I would like to get together to all those who are thinking about going to the BF Meat N' Greet in Chicago to figure out the best way for all of us to get out there. Maybe a ride and drinks on Sunday night? Of course, everyone else is welcome to come along.

Alright I just looked at those pictures from the midnight crit. Dude, what's up with that?

Does anyone think in the last picture the 'man of the hour' (I think his name is Joe) is looking into the camera kind of inquisitively? Almost like he's saying, "Dude, why the **** are you taking so many pictures of me?"

Sounds good to me. Can we pick a new place?

On a separate note, I'm pleased to report that my string of comprehensive losses at the MIT track races remains unbroken.

Bad news, gentlemen. I fell down the steps in front of my house this morning and I think I bruised my tailbone. The ride in to the office did not feel good. rithem, you're still welcome to crash here tonight, but I don't know if I'll be able to go. I'll see how I feel later today.

Just get yourself a donut-shaped saddle and you're good to go.

I don't know how I feel about dangling my tackle between those two rails. But whatever works.

So, what's the status on the ride?

I'm game ... I'm not doing it solo, but if you still want to Rob, lets do it, I know you like challenge. I think Jrowedc will pull through, right Jeff. I have to come up tonight no matter what, to see Alex. If we abandon the ride, no big deal, I'll just bring my Denny up with me and maybe we can booze-crooze. Plus, theres that shindig at Alex's buddies place.

All right. I'll take a jaunt to the bike shop to find a cheap replacement rear wheel until I can rebuild my cracked one. Unless anybody has one to spare for this ride...

what do you need shimano or campy cassette free body. I can probably score you one on the cheap from The Hub. 8 -speed or 9-speed or 10-speed not sure if it matters.

Shimano. 8-speed. It's an oldish component group.

Cool, if you don't mind helping me swap the cassette over since I don't have the necessary tools. I only need the rear. Thanks dude!
