The Kancamagus Hwy ride in NH was awesome. Thanks again, rithem, for organizing and driving. I propose we do it again in two weeks so we can enjoy the fall colors. How many people are interested?

No, we don't. In stage 11 of this year's tour, for example, Vinokourov finished 107.5 miles at a pace of 22.5 mph. The stage included 12,600 feet of climbing. He rocks.

Could this thing use a clip on the rails and a cleat mounted you know where?

Those are basically designed for people who are a) unaccustomed to riding so they have very tender undersides and/or poorly adjusted positions or b) health concerns which prevent them from using a conventional saddle.
They're designed for a very upright position and casual riding style.

so whats the over-all summary of the NH ride? it was basically in the waterville valley ski area, right? also, how bad were the climbs? I would really like to try it, but i dont feel i'm at the level i should be , to be able to make it up through mountains, when climbing parker hill ave gives me some trouble, although it prolly is 11% though.
