Is there a run for Tues? There was talk about it at CM,but nothing on the calendar. Me and Poopn were recruiting after CM,so there may be a couple of prospects showing up.

I'm really, really sorry those didn't work out. That really sucks. Really really sucks.

On another note...
my heart skipped a beat this morning when I did my regular check of the jonny cycles website. Jon's almost done with the bike he's working on now, and there's only two more frames in front of me!! He and I are doing the final decisions chat in person in chicago. I'm so nervous that I'll order the wrong thing, but I'm so excited to finally get my bike. After a craptastic day, this was the news I needed.
Here's your last chance for input. So far, it's solid blue with stainless lugs. There will be stars cut out of the lugs, showing the blue paint through them. Fix, of course, drilled for two brakes. Stainless fork crown. Integrated seat binder bolt. Stars cut into the dropouts. No brazeons. S&S Couplers. Nearly square frame, somewhat like the steamroller, only shorter TT and taller ST. Oh, and I'm going to get "this machine kills fascists" painted on the chainstay.

I've been waiting since May.

It was a good time though it sucked about the rain. Props go to Tink for showing me the Memorial Bridge, Arlington, and Columbia Pike for the first time. Also, thanks go to MDRawk for pointing me in the right direction back to MD when I got "a little turned around."

I hope all of the Chicago-bound have a great time this weekend.

Bikes: Lots. Mostly steel. Mostly heavy. Mostly geared, and very low, at that.

Hey DC crew! This here is your formal invitation to pizza and beer Friday for lunch. There's a pizza place near my work that has (for $5) a personal pizza/ draft beer (Leinenkugel's is the best of what they offer with the special). You only get one beer with your pizza (the rest are pretty expensive) BUT!!! YOU CAN ORDER MORE THAN ONE PIZZA!!!!
