Pick it up so that it isn't litter. Let me know when you have done so.

just rode down there.
someone got it.
hopefully not just one of the neighborhood kids for the purpose of throwing it at each other or something.
although... gadeux, you said the southwest corner of rodney and fargo.
the only hydrant I saw was on the northwest corner.
that was a nice little four block ride. if I didnt have to go to work early tomorrow, I'd be tempted to ride to kelly point park tonight. monsoon season is on the way and tonight is a great night to ride.
edit: funny how that google map calls MLK Union ave. weird.

All right folks.
Last call on a free (lightly used, low mileage tire). It is around the orange fire hydrant on the NW (did I say SW earlier?) corner of NE Fargo St and NE Rodney Ave.
It'll be there another day.
Or you can PM me or respond in this thread and I'll put it somewhere else for you to pick up.
I know you like to reuse things and I know you like to skid, (or not get flats while not skidding).
Edit
Oops, someone got it. I hope it ends up on a bike and not around someone's neck.
Thanks for trying!

No, I didn't take it inside.
It is officially MIA.
Rodney is a pretty well trodden bike route though, so it is possible that someone with a bike (who knows how to change a tire) actually got it.

Tell you what though...
This was somewhat fun.
I have a few other bicycle parts to get rid of.
I'll put them in the city and the post on this thread where to pick them up.
I'll find better hiding spots.
This will run through Oct. 3rd.

If you people want to give me general parts of town where you live or ride frequently, I'll try to keep it close to where people are.
That way we can keep some poor SPD's from rotting away in an alley in Beaverton...

Seriously though, I am from Oregon originally and I miss hanging out in Portland. I have lots of friends there...I need to come up and do some skiing and biking!

i didn't take the tire but i've seen a few bikes and random bike parts abandoned near that intersection.
if you feel so inclined, you could leave a black thomson seat post in the field at n. killingsworth and interstate.
