Bikes: One of them home-made fixed gear road bike conversions.. with props to JB Weld and Red Loctite!

hey gang, been awhile!

i seem to have gotten a friend of mine interested in riding fixed but he's got his heart set on finding one of the KHS Flite 100's from last season (the one that's all dark grey and looks like a stealth bomber)..

anyone know a bike store that still has these frames? we've checked urbane and westside cycles etc but not sure who else carries KHS..

thanx!

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to buy a new bike, but I've been out of the game for a while. I had a Kona Paddywagon a number of years ago and quite enjoyed it, but I had to give up riding after I tore my MCL pretty badly. It took a few years, but I think I'm healed enough to get back on a bike, atleast for commuting. I'm looking at getting something relatively cheap ($400 or so), and was looking at possibly the Giant Via 3. Anyone here have any other suggestions, or can comment on the Via 3? I also purchased my Paddywagon off of Craigslist, so I'm looking for some LBS suggestions that carry Giant too!
Thanks everyone

Howdy all.

New member here from Toronto thought I'd say hi.

Just got myself a masi UNO drop.

Asesome ride so far.

If you see a white masi in the danforth area that's me!

yeah, it's not like the spring show. it's one day only of a bunch of bike shops trying to get rid of their 2012 stock

Yeah, know what you want and know the price. Don't get suckered into the $2.50 tubes, the line up is like an hour, and the savings are good but not amazing.

Not sure where to post but this seems like a good spot. Does anyone know where I can purchase some loose bearing balls in Toronto. Preferably cheap.

Unfortunately the ruling is suspended for 14 days and he can appeal, most likely while staying in office.

Very happy the ruling went against him.

Tj, how are things. Pm me, we should meet for a coffee ride. Try BikeSauce for risers, they have some good stuff sometimes, i scored a MEC double trailer for $20!! All it needed was the attachment bar which mec sells.

No track bike for me, too hard to give up cx bike.

Got a cheapy bar from Urbane and tektro two finger BMX levers, cables, housing and grips all for 80$ with the taxes etc.
I found my hack saw and package of new blades. Bar cut this week end.

I am. I've never been on the track before, so I'm going to have a budget build. Hoping public transit will be an option to get out there.
