Once you stop being forced to be such a huge consumer, you find you don't actually need all that much space. As long as a unit has lots of natural light I don't mind if its small. Then you just surround yourself with really nice stuff in small amounts. Thats why stuff in japan is really small and high quality.

are you sure it was a fixed gear? I wasn't aware those were made in that flavour...
