All moved into the new joint and back online. However, the last tenants made a point of never cleaning so we have our work cut out for us. On the up side, the back balcony is bigger than we expected and as such... we got a kick ass bbq - IMHO anywho. That said, there will undoubtedly be some BBQ, beers 'n bikes at the new diggs before long.

And now for the bad news... WTF!!!! My seething rage is about to catch my desk on fire.

what's with the clipless-mounted flip-flops? for riding to the beach in bare feet?

I looked again and I think they are some sort of shoe-mount, not flip-flops. It looks like you can fit any shoe in there so I guess that this saves time because you don't have to switch out of cycling shoes and into running shoes, you just cycle with your running shoes on. Pretty good idea, I've never seen it before.

Well, then again, I guess that's par for the course on that bike.
shoot, i never even noticed that! it's seeming more and more to me like one of those "urban xxxtreme" bikes that would have been ridden by dudes in orange body glove shirts and full face helmets with fishbone graphics on it in 1989...

Someone already posted that, hence sparking Jet to post the picture.

At the trek store they have some wheels on display that have red spokes. It's lame, but I really like the coloured spokes!

I still haven't visited that place. I should pop in there soon since I'm in that area fairly often. As for ugly red wheel bits: https://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=22248

Those wheels make me throw up in my mouth and/or baby jesus cry, I don't care how good they potentially are.
