I'm also likely going into the Don again on Sunday morning.

i'll come. never been to these infamous CV's but that curbside ride was a lot of fun.

We never did do those track nights we were posting about. Who's got a nice smooth track not covered in joggers?
I'd much rather do that with you lot than rip up in traffic.....as much as I love ripping traffic if any of you lot got hurt, I'd never enjoy it again, and it would truly suck the big one.

I'll try and stop by Ed's tonight (Tuesday) as well. I'm really feeling more night riding. The last few weekend days I've been out have been crazy hot which leads to too much hanging out and not enough riding. Which is fine... in moderation. :)

I was talking to Sonamb. about heading up to Albion this Sat morning for 10 to ride with some friends from Newmarket. If anyone would like to come, I can give a lift there. Home - you are on your own :) I am staying for a wedding.

Also: Don't think I'm gonna do Albion on Saturday now. Dave can't make it out that day, so now we're talking about either doing the Don on Sunday or getting out to someplace else like Kelso or Durham. We haven't ridden either of those before.

I wouldn't mind possibly joining you guys at durham/Glen major on Sunday if I could get a ride. I took my car off the road and now I'm officially car-free :)

Dave's driving, so it depends on if he invites anyone else as he only has room on his rack for 3 bikes, and I don't have a car rack. I'll put in a word for you. :)

Thought I'd repost this email I just got this in my inbox this morning from Dave (aka. Tempo) who some of you know:

Sorry If I've fallen out of contact with a few of you out there, life has been a bit of a whirlwind as of late. Nonetheless, I find myself in a motel surrounded by countless sets of tubular racing wheels, bike parts, energy bars and of course, bikes. I was asked by an old buddy Christopher Bolton, to be a support mechanic / driver / substitute masseuse, for the 8 day cross country journey that is the Race Across America. Him and his cycling partner Sam Babe, a cancer survivor, are riding in a two man effort to raise $250K for the SickKids Foundation. They'll be riding/racing 24 hours a day, for 8 days, alternating in two hour shifts.

The race departs this afternoon, which should land us in Atlantic City NJ around the 20th.

to clarify: where: parking lot behind honest eds (bloor and bathurst). When: tonight (tuesday) 8:30 pm. Why: becuase it's fun to ride bikes at night during a heat wave. Who: you. bring lights / locks / beer / coffee / you mother.
