No idea, but I got some amazing stuff at their unsilent auction last Fall. Park workstand, a couple Brooks saddles, etc.

So my buddy went to philly and did a training ride with CSC the day before a race this weekend as he works for Cervello. Ride of his life. I highly recommend you do a training ride with a pro if you EVER get the chance. dump your other, quit your job whtever, as you will remember every pedal stroke for years and years to come.

Explosions and parties for charities, this is going to be a good summer.

TRaffic Jammer 06-12-07 02:57 PM

I'd love to see these sprints begin, and I'd be willing to help organize / setup, etc. (hint: cavernmech, PM me if the you've been delegated). Can we do them on Wednesdays, though? (I think that was the original suggested day)

I_bRAD 06-12-07 03:50 PM

I might be down to join you on that ride of destruction!

Well I can't make it happen for tomorrow but if Wednesdays are better for folks then I will get it ready for next Wednesday evening. I still have to meander down there and paint the distance marks on the road. So first night of Unwin Sprints will be Wednesday June 20th.

I'll try and stop by Ed's tonight (Tuesday) as well. I'm really feeling more night riding. The last few weekend days I've been out have been crazy hot which leads to too much hanging out and not enough riding. Which is fine... in moderation. :)

Dude I've got a pair of ITM road drops you can have gratis if you want. They are scratched up around the stem from when I stupidly removed them without spreading the clamp first! They've never been crashed though and I got them NOS from MIke Barry so they haven't seen any abuse aside from said stem silliness. They won't be as stiff as your Somas though

So my Speedvagen order package showed up. Ho-ly crap. There's a silk screened wooden plaque along w/ requirements for mud and blood samples (baggie supplied). If anyone just won the lottery or cashed in the trust fund let me know and I'll pass this info along.

Wow, I didn't know you were an REO Speedvagen fan...

And who is doing the Friends for Life ride? They seem to still have space for riders... I have to see if I'll get some time off at work to do it. If not, I'll pledge some $$ to help those who are riding.

It's a side project by Sacha of Vanilla ... check the cable routing (stainless steel sleeve through the integrated seatpost).

Air crash investigation episodes. They do a relatively good job to sticking with the facts.

That was a fun little roll around tonight...

DAN - I think you should invest in a feed bag for constant nourishment. I'm sure you could fit a waffle in there.

duppy.conqueror 06-12-07 10:02 PM

wow...that speedvagen is wicked man!
