I did a nice blast into china town yesterday, if I ride tomorrow it'l be with the kids at leslie....wait nope we're all getting hair cuts tomorrow afternoon. Guess not me tomorrow then unless I go for a solo cardiac hit. I stopped by and met Keith yesterday around2.
The adaptation of Johhny N. was a POS, it never could have been made into a good movie.
I wonder who bought the rights to neromancer?

The rights to neuromancer are almost worth a book unto themselves. The movie has been in various stages of writing, pre-production, drafting, casting etc for years. Every once in awhile you'll year another rumor or something or a piece of wire about a studio or writer selling the rights but it's become such a tangled mess that I'm sure it'll take an effort such as the one that went into gathering the Tolkien licenses for it to get made.
I'm so jealous of all of you riding, i'm stuck in my ss mtb until I can rebuild my fixed. Damn you all.
I always wonder how the Ender's Game movie, if it gets made, will turn out. If he destroys those like Peter Jackson destroyed LotR I may have to go on a rampage.
Does anyone have any suggestions for bullhorns and a good stem, I'm looking that would be comfortable for a fixed conversion cruiser (the frame that was powdercoated) and I don't want to spend an arm and a leg if possible...

Maybe I will just do that and bum around then. Also here is a cute picture of my girlfriend with her new bike.

Notice the new bike smile! She loves it and rode the heck out of it last night. I gotta say that the frame IS a little small for her, but where the seat is right now (up real high) works just fine, and once I pop on a riser stem her hands will be in just the right place. I'm still going to keep my eyes open for a larger frame if one presents itself in a dumpster or for really cheap, but for the time being she's happy with how it fits. She also wanted to pay for it herself so she gave me what I paid minus whatever chris king headsets cost. I'm looking forward to some good rides!

Oh yeah so I dropped by the start of the alleycat earlier on and there were a whole 7 people racing! I was almost talked into racing myself but I ended up getting groceries instead. It would have been fun to do it with some of you jokers as the route wasn't too tough and we would statistically have to have at least one of us win! Maybe next time

I finished putting on the rest of my parts today. So it's pretty much done took it out for a longer then normal up & down the street ride. I'm telling you if there was not a brake on there I’d be in trouble don’t get me wrong you catch on quick real quick but i hit two hills that i had to hit the brake on. Overall feels good a nice change from freewheel for sure.. A little more riding time & I’ll be riding it across a tight rope with one foot & beer in hand LOL.
Snapped up a couple more pics of it as well my other two sleds

Cavit8, sounds good - I'll grab some cash on the way over once I shove the dude that's been sleeping in the TD Bank kiosk lately out of the way.

Shiznaz, you should invite Emma (did I remember her name correctly?) on the next Critical Vacuum ride. Which will be held... once I am no longer living on the verge of death. Damn sickness.
