I don't think for the first time you need to bring yer own bikes. The cost is the same regardless whether you use a rental or not. As Op mentioned...if you do crash at least its on a rental. I am riding a rental. Enough talk of crashing tho.

For those who care when Dan, Brayden and I went last Feb I wore shants, long sleeve shirt and a fleece vest and full finger gloves. My only thought to those who want to bring their own bike is that the banks are really steep and if you have longer cranks there might be an issue with hitting the track on the slow pylon laps. One girl who was there hit here pedal a few times trying to carve aorund the pylons. Have fun you b*stards. |

Apparently all the brokerage fees were on the aerohead package, not the build kit - ~$35 GST + brokerage = $90 buttramming. Makes the sale price a lot poopier, but meh. It happens.
Hugely impressed with the speed that this stuff arrived. I'll be e-mailing Tony shortly. Re: .au velo crash I had to explain that it looked way worse than it was, those guys are pros, they know how to fall/deal and those bikes have no brakes for safety reasons on the track. That was a tough one to explain :p Have fun at the track guys, sounds like a blast :D I'm fortunate enough to have Mon-Wed off next week, but back to the grind on the day of the Turd. It's likely going to be a boozefest from what I hear, but being at work is still ftl. |
