Unofficially (ie. I might be wrong) I believe it's your standard vocal auction cattle-sale, and I think it starts at noon.

To keep the main thread from getting too cluttered, just email me for specific auction item information.
- If you're looking for something specific, feel free to ask and I can let you know if it'll be available.
- I can pm/email you specific email about auction items on the list once that's available.
- Auction begins at noon, doors at 10am for pre-viewing/registration.
- It's going to be a traditional called auction.
- There will be some lots, some individual items, it'll all be laid out in the list.
Please pass on the info to whoever you think might be interested. We don't have room for all our inventory so it really does have to go somewhere. Hopefully to some good homes.

I just got a package from the U.S. today! And it contained one of these:

A 1959 Gretsch Chet Atkins Tennessean Reissue! Woo!!! This guitar ROCKS! And thanks to knowing where to look and a favourable exchange rate I got it for a ridiculously good price! Woohoo!

I just noticed my Sony MDR700 studio monitors are broken (at the universal joint bit). Anyone know a place in the GTA that repairs stuff like this? They're 5 years old now, but they were 'spensive when I got them and it looks like they're still in regular production.

[from the gf's computer]
And now the power switch for my computer has come apart ... time to open the case up and see if I can just replace the switch or if I need a whole new power supply. Man, could stuff please stop breaking on me?!
Edit: Opened it up and took a look. Seems like I can just replace the switch/wire and attach a new one to the motherboard. Yay!

My friend's cracked on him half a dozen times or so before he finally gave up and bought something else. I'm pretty sure he just glued it back together each time.

Well, I've had mine now for maybe 6 years so personally I haven't found durability to be an issue (until now, obviously). Unless anyone has a suggestion for some \<-R4D (that was for you, Rob) studio monitor headphones, I guess I'm on the hunt for some epoxy.

Well, he was DJ'ing pretty heavily with his, so it doesn't surprise me that he had more trouble. Unless you need the wacky pivoting ear-pieces for DJing I think the 7506 model is probably a good bet. Bay-Bloor Radio also has a huge wall of headphones all running through a single cd-player.. so you can pop in a cd and then compare various brands/models. It's pretty sweet. Personally I found most of the Sennheisers/Grados/etc pretty uncomfortable, physically... The Sony's were quite comfy though, and also sounded pretty good to my somewhat destroyed eardrums.

Sadly, I found the "dj" features immensely useful in my boring suburban life. It let me have one ear listening to the gf/gf's computer and one listening to iTunes/You Tube/VLC ...

Nice. On a related note my jam/rock space will be ready in a week or so. Just have to lay down some insulation...get the kit set back up and tuned and then it will be go time. We have a decent guitar, amp and bass at the house as well as various percussion/harmonica's etc. I am gonna pick up a mike for vocals as well. Who's up for a semi-regular session at my place?

To all my friends!!!!
I have to admit I'm terrified at the thought of wrecking on a ride that isn't mine to wreck.
What's the retail on that Jamis?

Now just wait and see if my schoolyard goading tactics work. Did I say that out loud?!...CRAP!
