i run an ebay consignment store.

people bring me their junk.... er.... wonderful stuff
and i sell it on ebay/craigslist/to my friends.

The "buy it now" written on the tags on the items in the display case should have been a giveaway. :)

kylehutton 04-30-08 04:57 PM

DA only makes cogs up to 16t

So I was able to make it into the Don today after all. Wifes plans changed. I need a good front tire, suggestions are welcome.

So after riding the dirt drops on the road for a month it was my first time using the drops as they were intended, and they are awesome. Very easy to steer, shift and reach the brakes, climbing was great as was control down the hills. In all I was very, very pleased with the ride. Tektro cantis were fine as well, never felt out of control while decending. Got a few double take looks in the parking lot at the end of the ride too.

I have a nice Hutchinson Python lying about that I have no further use for (29er or death for me) It's been used sparingly and is kevlar. I liked it a ton up front when I used it. Yours if you like.

yo we need to start a next forum elsewhere...looks like bfssfg is goin south...for a month.

Ill Mitch 04-30-08 07:19 PM

I think it's just a ban for all the users that have been making off topic threads and posts in the main forum lately.

cavit8 04-30-08 07:22 PM

It's a possibility. There's a few goofs in the main subforum who *might* get the thread locked for a bit.

I mentioned I wouldn't appreciate it as we use Toronto Fixed a fair bit and one of the mods said they'd move Toronto Fixed as a thread of the Eastern Canada regional thread for the duration so everything stays intact.

edit:: Having read Brian's post now, as per Ill Mitch's comment it appears that the SSFG thread will be locked to a select group rather than a universal lock (which apparently a few folks in that thread haven't grasped as yet). So we should be golden.

Had a fun ride in the Don with Wes this evening. As long as weather holds, DSR Dirt Edition should start next Tuesday night. A 6.30-6.45 meet at Pottery Road seems to work out ok and leave enough daylight to do a full loop. All are welcome.

Oh and if anybody has a tall nitto technomic stem w. ~70mm reach, it'd go well with the rando bars on my tourer :) I have a few stems too for trade...

i've got a technomic in an 8cm length with a 26.0 clamp that i'm not using. if you're interested in a trade of some sort, give me a PM.

Anytime dude, I didn't look to see if you were using, I'd assumed you'd throw it on for next week, drop by sometime next week to have it re-tensioned.

After we all split up (from another awesome ride, thanks guys) I went down St. George and grabbed some street meat..now I feel like that dude from alien where the baby alien explodes from his gut. Damn cat food.

And you were just telling me about your rough Licks burgers experience! We never learn!

Talked to Danhalen today, he is at a show tonight. Remember, he is a working man now.

It looks to be the stock bike. The hubs are cheapo loose bearing prolly. Those frames are incredibly strong and durable. Used to come stock with 75's for like $600.

Howdy all,

While I don't live in T.O., I do manage a fair bit of fixed riding, mostly between Bathurst & Queen's Quay out to The Etobicoke Sailing club and back during my lunch hours.
I actually took some pictures today. Enjoy
