Big update to the auction list just happened. Now to finish up tools and this beast might actually be done.

Poor lonely fella. :) Seriously though, as high-larious as the situation is, I figure what someone does to an inanimate object in privacy is their own business. I mean, me and my inflatable sheep have had a lot of good times together. ;)
Speaking of eff'ed up situations... http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7096814.stm That Saudi law is nuts.. 200 lashes? And this poor girl was the victim :( |

Also, is anyone here hittin' the CT auction? Wanna grab some brunch someplace in the 'hood beforehand? |

The batteries on the Frog Knogs are the same as the MEC Turtles (CR2032, replaceable). Ebay them for $1 each, NIB energizers. The Lifu batts that come with the knog/turtles are garbage. But they will last for a bit before dying.

lovely crisp snowy morning. whistling sarah harmer happily. driver buzzes me, honking the horn. caught up to her at a red light, she wasn't talking. took a photo of the plate and her FLASHING HER BADGE. told her i had a "right to be safe", she replied "**** you". typed up a report so i don't forget, and included relevent HTA. should be an interesting trip to 14th division after work...

ooo, that's nasty. I wonder if she knows the officer who's husband was run over from behind by that truck and trailer earlier this year.
|
crazy - did you get her badge number?
|
Wow, that's nuts... *****y officer!
I'm not going to the CT auction afterall, last couple days with the family takes the reigns. Almost got catapulted yesterday, heading across an intersection (King/Tecumseth or Niagara) and I was taking the right lane of King - some pillock decided it was fun to try and thrash from the left lane (he was in the middle of the intersection still, traffic was backed up) and come into me and my lane. Not sure how close, the cyclist behind me commented it was close - probably a couple inches spare though - he got a very shocked "HEY!" but I carried on, didn't see the point in stopping to yell at someone to use their mirrors - doubt it'd change anything. |

i didn't get the actual badge #, but i got a clear shot of the plate. i only had my crappy cell phone, so you can't see that much detail through the windshield. bad enough when a driver doesn't know the rules of the road... but when it's "i've got a badge get outta my way" it just goes to another level! |
