I'll be there Fri/Sat/Sun ... expect me to be seething with disdain for humanity by the time you all show up on Saturday. By Sunday I'll probably be throwing punches.

ihearld- is it just you going to track 1? I won't be able to make it and neither are the other guys. So you got 3 spots to play with if you want.

We're going to be there, but not with a huge booth.
Cycle Therapy does a lot of work with the Friends for Life Bike Rally. Booth space for an organization like that (or manufacturers) is much more expensive than what retail stores pay. Raleigh Canada (which also does Diamondback) is a sponsor of the rally this year so the three of us have worked out a deal: Raleigh pays for the booth and stocks it with some bikes/parts/accessories, the rally gets to promote itself for free using the booth space and we volunteer our time to work the booth, promote our store and maybe make a bit of cash if anyone wants to buy anything.
As far as actual Cycle Therapy content, we're bringing four customer bikes that we like and think show off what the store's about. There will also be maybe one display case full of parts and whatnots that I've marked down for people. When I'm not talking 'cross bikes or singlespeed conversions with people I'll likely be wandering around looking for deals on SLR saddles, King headsets and Alpha Q forks.

I might have mentioned this before but Erin (paddrocker) and I are taking a wheel building workshop with CBN in the coming weeks (2 parter) and each of us have 2 wheels to build but only 1 gets built in the class so if anyone wants to take the workshop but doesn't have a wheel of their own to build, we've each got 1 that we could "donate" to the cause - as long as you're not a total buffoon that will build a wheel that will explode on me.

Bikes: Menonite black urbanite, probably enough spare parts to make anther one.
Pyze - at this point it looks like i'll be heading to the bike show on sunday morning if you want to grab a coffee and go or some such thing.
my ride in this morning was actually much better than i expected. granted, i didn't leave until 10:30 so i think the roads were plowed and slushed by then. i agree with brad though, i'm sick of the east-west slog on the roads with streetcar tracks. i've been taking bloor and spadina a lot lately. actually if you've got time to go out of the way, either dupont or davenport work nicely for getting east and west.
while it's cold out i should tell you that when making beef stew, adding a couple cans of guiness to it makes it just freaking awsome.

shoot that rossin is nice. i've always had a soft spot for those frames...
I'm still kicking myself that I missed out on that complete Rossin pista back in the autumn. It was on CL for $500 but the seller was up in Elora and I couldn't get up there before he sold it. Bummer.

"when i grow up i want to be..." like this guy:

Max is about 60 years old and cycles to the peak of Mt Tam in Marin County. He starts at his home in Mill Valley (about 100 feet above sea level) and climbs to the peak of Mt Tam (elevation 2,600 feet).
That's a 14 speed Rohloff internally geared hub on that bike he uses for his hill climb.
