Clearly someone with way too much time/money on their hands. "Why" is I believe a more appropriate question.

if you could raise the bars and put a brake on it, it would be a very usable bike i think.

It's pretty, but I don't think fixed and mountain bike really go together.

My mtb is fixed, or did you mean fixed mtb for trails.

Anyway awesome looking bike, serious saddle to bar drop though. I thought my bike was pretty severe.

Sexy bike, love the 'urban' look, great non-descript colour. I love how those bars look, but as pyze said - that saddle/bar drop looks a 'tad' aggressive For cruising/bombing around that seems cool, personally I don't trail ride much anyway and the thought of a FG in the trails doesn't enthuse me at all (though now I think about it, it's probably pretty sweet, proper ratio assumed)

Possible dumb question here: is there an actual difference between a rear and front road caliper? I'm looking at getting the Shimano BR-5501 caliper for my build, but the front is out of stock, rear is not where I was looking - so it made me wonder what the actual difference is between the two.

I'm going to Ottawa next weekend for a friend's baby shower, so I'm likely gonna hit the show on Friday. So, let me know when's a convenient time to pick it up. Or are you gonna drop them all off at Ye Olde Bike Jointe?

Also, while I hope that Spring bike show = Spring weather, I'm trying not to anticipate that actually being reality.

Front caliper bolt is longer (to bolt thru fork, as opposed to smaller brake bridge). Usually, anyway.
