i've got a technomic in an 8cm length with a 26.0 clamp that i'm not using. if you're interested in a trade of some sort, give me a PM.
After we all split up (from another awesome ride, thanks guys) I went down St. George and grabbed some street meat..now I feel like that dude from alien where the baby alien explodes from his gut. Damn cat food.

Bikes: 2005 Specialized Sirrus Hybrid, Unpedigreed steel frame fixie conversion (Force Disorder Pump), Pugeot UO9 fixed conversion (Red Menace). Lots of parts scattered about garage.
While I don't live in T.O., I do manage a fair bit of fixed riding, mostly between Bathurst & Queen's Quay out to The Etobicoke Sailing club and back during my lunch hours.
I actually took some pictures today. Enjoy

So I was able to make it into the Don today after all. Wifes plans changed. I need a good front tire, suggestions are welcome.
So after riding the dirt drops on the road for a month it was my first time using the drops as they were intended, and they are awesome. Very easy to steer, shift and reach the brakes, climbing was great as was control down the hills. In all I was very, very pleased with the ride. Tektro cantis were fine as well, never felt out of control while decending. Got a few double take looks in the parking lot at the end of the ride too.

I had some buddys who worked at licks.
I dont eat there ever, its unsafe, im talking picking burgers up off the ground and serving them, hair, spit, you name it.
My bern helmet arrived, in other news. Full review in time, but as far as todays commute is concerned, probably the best helmet I have owned, it makes me at least 3km/h faster.
. I was surprised though, a lot of hype about the lid but its actually pretty dead on, light, comfy as hell, a little warm, pretty low profile. I dont feel like a goomba in it. Finally I get to compete in events!
Oh and dirt update: my hangers have also arrived, fixing my trailbike on the weekend. Get to meet you guys on the trail finally!

I love that movie. He almost looks at peace with the carnivorous alien monster that just burst from his chest cavity after having been deposited in his stomach as an egg by a creepy multi-legged prehensile-tailed equally hideous alien.
