Heh heh. Yes, I am rather freakishly proportioned. 6'3" and 250lbs (optimistically). I can still manage to cruise at 25-30kmh (50t - 19t ratio). My aero tuck still has the frontage of a two story house. On two wheels I weigh as much as most tandem teams. I think that qualifies me for ultra-clydesdale status.
Although, within the forums there are a number of riders who are at the 6' + mark. I lucked out when I found the Raleigh in the pics (I think its a 62-63 cm Super Grand Prix). I work with a guy who is 6'8" (and 160lbs) and has a vintage Panasonic in a 66cm size that he has so far refused to sell me. So in the meantime, Its long seatposts & tall stems.
Luckily, the stem goes down as the season wears on and my back loosens up and my belly shrinks.
If you see me in T.O., say hi.

Just popped across town on my day off, think I saw you on College just east of Yonge, Stuart - I was heading west, though. I stopped in to visit Rob and he mentioned his SSFG lockdown - haha

Honestly, the moderation on here is really bad / overbearing. I could understand the mods if SSFG were family-oriented, but considering the dirt-bags that frequent this sub-forum, I don't know why they even bother with the swear filters. Hell, I even enjoy reading the OT threads and deathhare / operator call-outs & burns. At least this sub-forum isn't the ****-hole that the road forum has become.

hey i feel your pain - read the post before you deleted. don't feel bad about venting bike-rage here amigo. we've all been there vis-a-vis having a bad experience in traffic and getting oneself a bike-related treat to lift the spirits...

^^^Definitely (though I didn't read it before the edit).
Also, despite the miserable weather forecast, I feel like going for a road ride tomorrow morning. Is that weird, or just masochistic?

A little rain and wind never hurt anyone... go for it Wes.
Makes ya harder, in a HTFU sense, down pr0n0!!
Missed the story Stuart, but like above no worries about venting here. It's cathartic as we all have had many of the same experiences.
