Wahey, transit strike! So much for going to Kipling for the FFL ride. If anyone is up for a ride, pipe up. I'll be out at the spit doing some laps tomorrow morning before it gets too busy.

The union never voted until today and rejected it - strike started midnight. I just rode across Dundas and was in actual fear of the streetcar next to me (from like Sherbourne over to Ossington I had this thing near me) - he was *flying* - he knocked off the pantograph thing going around a corner too fast near Yonge/Dundas, man...

Good to see you all tonight - was a great turnout.

I'll likely be sleeping in, but if anyone wants to boot around in the afternoon post it up.

For sure, nice seeing yall at CM.

Good to see the New Yorkers dropping by. I hope CM was everything you ever imagined it to be (tonnes or riders, numerous U turns and a car having to speed through to get to the hospital). For those who weren't there - these two young chaps were representing, blocking at intersections etc. The Keirin Level showed the Beemers who's the boss of Bay st. Hope you enjoyed Toronto!

Thanks all for the well wishes.. and that's crazy news about the ttc. I guess the union leadership felt the political pressure to stay open during the work week / want to use the leverage to get a better deal with another Sunday night ultimatum. Sucks for those who got stuck downtown last night.

Aww ****, I missed meeting you there freecycle I guess, sorry dude. Nice to see you NY guys out, glad to see ya had fun

I ended up going home with my buddies, then heading out east again across the lake. We hung out at the Sirius stage for a bit, then rode in the harbourfront ice rink a bit before heading right across to Coxwell, right as my buddies chain broke - just after midnight and us not knowing about the strike... was fun for him walking home

Ya duppy - flying the Sheldon bird up there now Great to see ya last night too mangggg.

I'll be heading out shortly for a boot across town - Looks like it's time to carry both shorts and pants, damn indecisive weather.

Yeah, they're few and far between although you can sometimes come across them at garage sales and such. They go for nuts prices on ebay. This one is in much better shape than my other one was when I got it, so I'll likely keep it stock except for swapping out the rims.

Noice! I had a bad feeling about the hub when I saw it, its the same feeling i got when i bought a 74 ford galaxy and later found the brakes were shot. Im glad I was wrong, in a way, and in another way im hitting my head on my desk.

Nevertheless my quest for the twenty shall continue.

So I came home after work and saw a rabbit camping in the middle of my backyard. Went to grab a beer from the fridge then sat at the sliding door staring at it for like 20 minutes. THen I finished it and went upstairs to typethis post up
