Well, I know you can get away with it on Paris-Ancaster. I'd say the longer point-to-point races like that are the most likely as you wouldn't see as many marshalls on course and there are a lot of other riders streaming by for hours on end.

At the risk of upping the price, what do you guys think? https://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...TODAY.m238.lVI

It looks like more bike than I really needed but when I'm looking at dropping $350+ on an IRO frame...

Interesting. I wonder what that's going to go for.

That fork is like $200+ new, so $275 for the whole deal doesn't seem to bad. I'm not a big Aquila fan, but whatevs. I don't know if I'd want to ride something so bling around the city though, although it seems stupid to vote for the IRO plan instead since technically it'll cost more.

Yeah, I mean, aside from the "STEAL THIS BIKE" aspect, I don't want to look like a TOTAL track poseur, but at the same time, if I don't get the frame because of some superficial reason, doesn't that make me even more superficial?

Hmm, this will require further study... *shuffles off to the laboratory*

I rode Paris-Ancaster with my I-Pod last year. I will do it again this year. Both ears...no probs. Ice Breaker is not a problem, done it with tunes. I don't run noise cancelling headphones...kept the volume at a medium vol ...and when you are out of traffic on course the lack of background noise makes it easier. make sure you have a good cable run so you don't have to adjust the wire as you race...i pin it on the inside of my jersey. Heavy singletrack type races (O-Cups) are a little trickier, especially when so many guys pass you but I did Elliot Lake with it last year.

It was an 8 hour and Mitch did an extra lap I think.

It's not the speed it's the experience there young-uns. Beware 40+ year old racers...they will kick your ass!

It's a generic cookie-cutter frame but the fork is nice and the price is right. Nice geometry too.

Hah, I wouldn't give yourself so much credit there, Keithy-boy. My wild ineptitude trumps your vastly superior experience any day of the week! Wait ... ****.

my formula is: the windier it is the colder you feel.

Do any of you photographer types know where any good deals on a Canon G7 (new or used) can be had?

To keep it topical - I intend to take photos of BIKES with it!
