curbside has complete steamrollers. the soma delancey is pretty nice too. the geometry is pretty relaxed and it has chrome lugs on the headtube if you're into that kinda thing

We have some at Cycle Therapy if you want to come in for a test ride ... but you have to show up on Wednesday or Friday between 4-6pm so I can confirm that you are in fact real and not just a forums bot.

I saw a white Soma Rush at Mighty Riders in Vancouver a couple of weeks ago and it was a beaut.

Polyurethane, almost as fast as latex without the excessive air loss.

And they're green! That's almost as cool as soap you can see through.

2wheelsgood 07-02-08 07:57 PM

yeah, those would be awesome if you could get clear tires

"here"...

...as in an ex-pat on the t.o. thread? yes.

...as in someone in t.o. that could let you test ride theirs? no.

That thing is ******** beautiful, and because you likely got it for next to nothing, I want you to attach a rack and commute on it through winter 2008/9.

POS Alert...

The Bike I'm lovin' more than I oughta...
A Raleigh Record that has become the receptacle for orphaned parts from other builds.
put together and locked up at work just for rides in TO.
63 gear inches turning out to be near perfect for messing about in my lunch hour.
Pardon my indulgence whilst I share some pictures taken today.

Man one of those pics almost looks fake from the way the bike stands out from the background.

gutbucket 07-02-08 10:38 PM

And if'n you're interested, I'll ask if we're gettin' rid of the Ampex 1" reel to reel VTR's in the background. ;)

HA yeah right. Because I'm getting it for next to nothing, the resale value is important to me. :thumb:

I am going to swap some stuff out though for reals. The saddle has to go it's a ballcrusher. I'm putting on a standard SLR. Also, I'm not a big fan of the bars that come stock on it. I'm to swap them out for some Dedas. I'm also going to swap out the FS(hit)A cranks for Dura Ace. Nokon housing would be badass. Other possible mod is swapping out the no setback seatpost for a normal seatpost. With that straight one, I'll probably have my saddle jammed way way back. I'd like to hand build some dura ace hubs to some open pros for a hand built wheel set eventually as well.

Just make sure you don't tell us how much you paid, I might have to jump off a building if I see that employee discount! :)
