Wes, how do you make sure your glasses stay in the proper spot when you race? I find if I wear glasses and ride heard they start to slide down my nose.

My glasses just don't droop much.. the arms are adjusted juuuust right. I do have to push them up occasionally while riding offroad, however.

ps. you know you all wanna come out 'n' get dirdy! wheeeeeeeeeee!!! What a dirty bia-ch! I can't believe I got #12 as my race number for the season.. so close to having lucky #13!

despite being out of shape, i would consider trying a race if i had a cross bike, or anything wide-tire suitable for that matter...

Got a touring bike? Even a commuter w/ room for fenders could probably fit some cx tires.

I was watching this...he was just posing, not actually doing push ups.

Not that I doubt he could have done 1 handed push ups after the race.

Anyone know of any place that would do any one-off embroidery in the city (downtown, preferably)?

Are you looking for a one off on something you own?

https://www.stitchylizard.com/Stitchy_Lizard_unique.html

It's pretty close to you. I have no experience with them, myself. I can ask around a bit more though.

Kim wants to get something embroidered for a gift for a friend. I don't know any more than that.

Now if I want to get a suspension corrected fork...
I need to figure out the travel of my bouncy fork first, and then look for a fork corrected to that travel correct?
say 80mm 100mm etc?

i think you got it...if you put a normal fork on a frame with a geometry designed for suspension it would lower the front end too much as far as i know...

Keith, are you driving to this Sunday's race in Barrie? If so, can my ladyfriend and I (and my bike) hitch a ride with you? Otherwise, I'll try hitting up Barry and failing that I'll see if Briana and I can work something out w/a Zip Car.
