****, is the race Sunday? I thought it was Saturday. No worries, I'll reschedule my time at work. Whoever's driving, this is my official ride request. And now, time to go out and freeze my ass off/practice (knickers ... it's definitely time to get some knickers).

Well it is only at Bathurst and St. Clair. If it's raining I will bring the van for shelter...otherwise I am gonna ride up.

I did play Victor and Victoria in the High school production of Victor Victoria. Old habits die hard.

Earl Bales Park.. Bathurst & Sheppard.

ps. my right arm/shoulder hurts from hefting my bike up 5 flights of stairs and over 20 barriers (total throughout the race).

As Keith said, next week is just at Bathurst & St. Claire.. so if anyone wants to race/watch, come on out!

ps. I need to get myself a cowbell for watching cross races.

This may be an obvious question but who else wants to go early to the bike show and go in when the doors open?

Christian - I'm still up for Dim Summit! I'm just now quite physically able to do that long of a ride yet. The shoulder is coming along nicely though.

That's what I was thinking. In the past we've all gotten together beforehand at Moonbean, but this year I think we either need to leave much earlier or we should get together AFTER so we can have Show & Tell with our purchases.

Yep, I'm in for a door opening arrival - I was gonna ride there anyway. What time/place?

Looked like a fun filled weekend for all - nice going B&T, seriously cool stuff. The races looked like a blast, maybe one day I'll try that stuff out. I've done a lot of that route before, DrBenway - I can tell you from multiple experiences that the escarpment IS no fun to go up at all (some of those hills toward the Beck generating station on the river side are rough too, kudos for the fixed run). I've been through rain down there, too - though it was much warmer for me (and worn garbage back clothing in said rain, too )

I had a lazy bike weekend, only managing about 20k with the trailer on the back.

Didn't mind the rain today, though wind heading south sucked nards. 25 mins from Main/Danforth to King/Spadina must be a new MTB PB for me though.

Hahahah.. Keith kept yelling "go smiley!" at him because the first time he came past us he had a huge grin on his face. Good times! Are you gonna be out at next week's race?

I like the show and tell idea. I'll show you mine if you show me yours. Actually that doesn't sound right.

If you are not going to be purchasing anything come to the race instead. Us 10 a.m.ers could use a cowbell ringer.
